autorun inf virus

Autorun.inf:-

     Actually autorun.inf is not a virus, but all the virus execute the help of autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf file is look like the below image.

Functionality of autorun.inf:-

   This file can used to change the ICON of your pendrive and open a exe file automatically whenever open the CD Drive or pendrive from My Computer.

Syntax :-

[autorun]
open=virusname
label=name of the drive name
icon=icon file

virusname - If the file was generated by the virus, this file name was randomly changed.
label         - You can change the name of your pendrive name or CD drive name (Default name Removable
                   Disk).
icon name- If you want to change the CD drive Icon or Removable media Icon, just need to set the path of
                   icon file.
